Burnet has gone 8-1 against Gateway College Preparatory recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Burnet Bulldogs will face off against the Gateway College Preparatory Gators at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Burnet comes in on 14 and Gateway College Preparatory on seven.

Burnet's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Jarrell 4-0. Considering the Bulldogs have won 15 matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Gateway College Preparatory made easy work of Northeast Early College on Friday and carried off a 9-0 victory. The Gators are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the 15th contest they've won by 3+ goals this season.

Burnet pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight games. As for Gateway College Preparatory, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.

Burnet was able to grind out a solid win over Gateway College Preparatory when the teams last played back in January, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Burnet since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
