 Mooresville came tearing into  Saturday's  match with 20 straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.6 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins out  6-5. For Mooresville, this counts as revenge for the   7-4 loss Tri-West Hendricks walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2018.
  Deklan Thompson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Thompson was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Levi Dorn, who  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  doubles,  and two  RBI.  Hogan Denny was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 On Tri-West Hendricks' side, they got a good showing from  Camden Brozak, who   tossed 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate, Tri-West Hendricks saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jack Catt, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kohen Bear, who  went 2-for-2 with a  double and  an  RBI.
