Shades Valley hasn't lost a  match since February 10th, a trend which continued in their latest game  on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the McAdory Yellowjackets  a   5-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Mounties, who have now won eight contests by five  goals or more  so far this season.
They hit McAdory with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Aaliyah Carter (3),  Catherine Nelson,  and  Venus Reyes.
Shades Valley is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record  this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two  goals over those seven  games. McAdory's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shades Valley will take on Moody at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for McAdory, they will venture away from home to  square off against Hueytown  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. McAdory's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
