Downers Grove South not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 27, 2024 (when they won 48-0). They breezed past the Proviso East Pirates to the tune of 42-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Mustangs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Pirates are ranked 408th).
