Basketball Recap: Eagle Valley Piles Up the Points Against Weld Central + How To Watch

Eagle Valley won the last time they faced Weld Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Devils blew past the Rebels 73-25. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Devils.

Eagle Valley found their leader in sophomore Daniel Anderson, who went 9-for-13 to rack up 20 points and eight rebounds. Nicky Callis was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five boards and four steals.

When it comes to explaining why Weld Central lost, don't look at Ricky Smith. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points.

Eagle Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Weld Central, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Eagle Valley has already played their next contest, a 56-48 victory against Montrose on the 6th. As for Weld Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 54-52 defeat against Steamboat Springs on the 6th.
