Baseball Recap: Groveton Falls Short of Shelbyville in the Playoffs

Groveton and Shelbyville squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Groveton had to settle for second. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost four in a row.

Groveton's defeat dropped their record down to 23-6. As for Shelbyville, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-7-1.

As of now, neither Groveton nor the Dragons have any future games scheduled.
