Softball Game Preview: Ferris Saxons vs. Central Valley Bears

Ferris hasn't had much luck against Central Valley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Saxons will look to defend their home field against the Bears at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ferris had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Mt. Spokane put an end to it on Tuesday. The Saxons lost 14-0 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 20 runs the game before, Central Valley was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Mead, falling 12-2. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Central Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Ferris, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-7-1.
