Football Recap: Prentiss Christian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Prentiss Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Tensas Academy Chiefs with a sharp 32-6 victory on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Saints needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Prentiss Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Colton Duke, Carter Russell, and Peyton May picked up one apiece. Russell got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win got Prentiss Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Tensas Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Prentiss Christian will head out to square off against Tallulah Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tensas Academy, they will welcome Northeast Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
