Basketball Recap: Bethesda Christian Comes Up Short

Bethesda Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 55-35 to the Nazarene Christian Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Bethesda Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-31 back in January.

Nazarene Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Alexander Neal dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds and Aidan Adams almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. The game was Adams' seventh in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Carson Benoist, who posted five points and three steals.

Bethesda Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-14 record this season.

Bethesda Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-33 defeat against Victory Christian Academy on the 6th. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 59-33 win against Harvest Christian Academy on the 6th.
