Mount Pisgah Christian entered their tilt with Walker on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Wolverines. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (59-57) Mount Pisgah Christian actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-23, 17-25, 15-11.

Mount Pisgah Christian found their leader in sophomore Corinna Kelsh, who had ten digs and two aces.

Mount Pisgah Christian's victory bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Walker, their loss ended a seven-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 23-13.

Coincidentally, Mount Pisgah Christian and Walker will both be playing The Weber School the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wolverines will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
