Softball Preview: Blountstown Tigers vs. Franklin County Seahawks
Blountstown is 2-8 against Franklin County since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Tigers will face off against the Seahawks at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Blountstown will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Bozeman, who they had gone 1-7 against in their eight prior meetings. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Bucks 5-4 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since February 27th.
Meanwhile, Franklin County had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Timberwolves.

Franklin County pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games.
