Gateway Christian played in conference for the first time on Saturday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They enjoyed a cozy 36-18 win over the Living Rock Academy Bobcat. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 44-17 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Gateway Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Living Rock Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Gateway Christian will head out to challenge Waterloo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Living Rock Academy, they will take on First Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
