Soccer Recap: Layton Comes Up Short

Layton's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Davis Darts by a score of 2-1. Layton were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Davis earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Layton's goal came courtesy of Yoiner Fonseca, which was the first he's scored this season.

The loss snapped Layton's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-7 record. As for Davis, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
