Soccer Recap: Wakefield Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Wakefield was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Heritage Huskies by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for Wakefield in their meetings with Heritage: they've now lost nine in a row.

Wakefield now has a losing record of 8-9-3. As for Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-1-6 record this season.

Wakefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wake Forest on Thursday. Wake Forest will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Heritage surely won't give up without a fight.
