Softball Recap: Port Aransas Wins Going Away Against San Diego

Port Aransas hadn't done well against San Diego recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Everything went the Port Aransas Marlins' way against the San Diego Vaqueros as the Port Aransas Marlins made off with an 18-6 win. This was a revenge game for the Marlins: when they faced off against the Vaqueros on Thursday, they had to take a 19-4 loss.

The victory made it two in a row for Port Aransas and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 15.5 runs. As for San Diego, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Port Aransas has already played their next contest, a 19-9 win against Benavides on the 13th. As for San Diego, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 19-4 victory against Port Aransas on the 13th.
