Basketball Recap: Hancock Comes Up Short

Hancock has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. The contest between them and the L'Anse Purple Hornets didn't end well, with the Hancock Bulldogs falling 51-37. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Purple Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for L'Anse, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.

Hancock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-42 loss against Ishpeming on the 21st. As for L'Anse, they will be playing at home against Lake Linden-Hubbell at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
