Baseball Recap: Rosholt Takes a Loss

Rosholt fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Port Edwards on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Blackhawks by a score of 2-1. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Rosholt's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Port Edwards, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rosholt will take on Pittsville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Port Edwards, they will venture away from home to square off against Nekoosa at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
