Basketball Recap: Nelson Island Wins Going Away Against Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial

On Friday, everything went the Nelson Island Islanders's way against the Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial Carayiit as the Nelson Island Islanders made off with a 90-68 victory. The Islanders pushed the score to 71-44 by the end of the third, a deficit the Carayiit cut but never quite recovered from.

The win made it two in a row for Nelson Island and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Nelson Island has already played their next game, a 78-72 victory against Nightmute Elitnaurviat on the 18th. Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
