Soccer Recap: Luray Takes a Loss

After flying high against Rappahannock County on Tuesday, Luray came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Clarke County Eagles on Friday, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Clarke County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 two weeks ago.

Luray's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Clarke County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Luray will challenge rival Strasburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Clarke County is set to take on their familiar foe Madison County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
