Basketball Recap: Woden Takes a Loss

Woden lost against Hemphill back in January of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Woden Eagles took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hemphill Hornets. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woden's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Hemphill, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Woden Eagles duke it out with the Chireno Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hemphill, they will square off against West Sabine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
