Softball Recap: Knappa Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Knappa and Clatskanie, and Clatskanie kept the tradition alive. The Loggers came up short against the Tigers on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The contest marked the Loggers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Knappa saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Pass, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Knappa's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4-1. As for Clatskanie, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

While Knappa had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
