Volleyball Game Preview: North Lenoir Hawks vs. North Johnston Panthers

The North Lenoir Hawks will challenge the North Johnston Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Lenoir is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 15 games.

It was a Battle of the Birds when North Lenoir faced off against West Craven on Thursday. The Hawks blew past the Eagles 3-0.

While North Lenoir won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-23, 25-15.

Meanwhile, North Johnston lost 3-0 to West Craven on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

North Johnston was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made West Craven work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 27-25.

North Johnston's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for North Lenoir, their victory bumped their record up to 18-1.

Everything went North Lenoir's way against North Johnston when the teams last played back in September, as North Lenoir made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
