Basketball Recap: North Central Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

North Central can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They secured a 52-47 W over the Sandhills/Thedford Knights. For North Central, this counts as revenge for the 55-37 win Sandhills/Thedford walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

North Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Sandhills/Thedford, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Central will take on Burke/South Central in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sandhills/Thedford, they will venture away from home to challenge Arthur County on Thursday.
