Higley faced Red Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Knights came out on top against the Mountain Lions by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on six straight.

Higley had a senior duo take command as Britton Skousen had 16 digs and one assist and Kaden Chen had 20 assists and two blocks. Skousen has been hot, having posted 15 or more digs the last seven times he's played.

Higley couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 40% of their attack attempts. The last time their hitting percentage was this high was in their last ten games.

Higley's win bumped their record up to 26-5-2. As for Red Mountain, they moved to 14-8 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Higley has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Westwood on the 19th. As for Red Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against ALA - Queen Creek on the 19th.
