Baseball Game Preview: East Brunswick Bears vs. Edison Eagles

For the second straight game, East Brunswick will face off against Edison. The Bears are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

East Brunswick is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Edison on Thursday, sneaking past 11-10. While the Bears didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

East Brunswick got a big performance out of Felix Munoz, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that Munoz has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Tyler Zeichner, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

The win made it two in a row for East Brunswick and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
