Baseball Recap: Hobbs Eagles vs. Organ Mountain Knights

Hobbs and Organ Mountain squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Hobbs had to settle for second. They lost 7-1 to the Organ Mountain Knights. Hobbs just can't catch a break and has now endured six defeats in a row.

Hobbs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Fuentes, who went 1-for-3 with an RBI.

On Organ Mountain's side, Matthew Hall made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk).
