Evansville Christian will be up against a hot Gibson Southern team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Titans put the hurt on Southridge with a sharp 6-1 win on Monday. Six seems to be a good number for Gibson Southern as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Evansville Christian never let Evansville Day get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Hallie Peter was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Gibson Southern's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Evansville Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-5-1.

Gibson Southern took their victory against Evansville Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
