Eastern Tech is a perfect 3-0 against Overlea since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mavericks will challenge the Falcons at 5:15 p.m. Eastern Tech will be strutting in after a win while Overlea will be coming in after a loss.

Eastern Tech not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since November 8, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past Sparrows Point 3-0. The Mavericks haven't had any issues with the Pointers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Overlea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Sparrows Point, falling 3-0.

Overlea took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-11, 25-16.

The win got Eastern Tech back to even at 5-5. As for Overlea, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Eastern Tech took their victory against Overlea in their previous matchup back in November of 2016 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
