Basketball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington and Heyworth squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Lexington had to settle for second. They took a 37-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heyworth Hornets. The Minutemen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 37-33.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Heyworth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-16.

As of now, neither Lexington nor Heyworth have any future games scheduled.
