Soccer Recap: Seckman Takes a Loss

Seckman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Zumwalt East Lions.

Seckman's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Fort Zumwalt East, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Seckman wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Jackson on the 17th. As for Fort Zumwalt East, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Hazelwood East at 5:00 p.m. Fort Zumwalt East will be up against Hazelwood East's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.2 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
