Basketball Recap: Montgomery County Takes a Loss

Montgomery County lost against Hawkinsville last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Montgomery County Eagles fell 64-54 to the Hawkinsville Red Devils.

Bryson Singletary was his usual excellent self, going 12-for-20 en route to 26 points in addition to seven boards and three steals for Hawkinsville. Singletary's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kamari Blackshear, who posted six points and four steals.

Montgomery County's loss dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Hawkinsville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-11.

As of now, neither Montgomery County nor Hawkinsville have any future games scheduled.
