Basketball Recap: Cordova Comes Up Short

After flying high against City University School of Liberal Arts last Friday, Cordova came back down to earth. The Cordova Wolves were outmatched by the Collierville Dragons and fell 62-16. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Collierville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cordova will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Evangelical Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Collierville, they will be home for the holidays to greet Southwind at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
