Soccer Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Notre Dame fought the good fight in their overtime match against MMI Preparatory School on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of MMI Preparatory School by a score of 1-0. If Notre Dame were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to MMI Preparatory School when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for MMI Preparatory School, they moved to 2-11-2 with that victory, which also ended their eight-match losing streak.

Coming up, Notre Dame will square off against Wilson Area at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for MMI Preparatory School, they will face off against Wyoming Area at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. MMI Preparatory School will be up against Wyoming Area's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.67 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
