Basketball Game Preview: Hayden Wildcats vs. Manhattan Indians

The Hayden Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Manhattan Indians on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hayden will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Emporia, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Hayden strolled past Emporia with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 51-37.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manhattan). They came out on top against Topeka by a score of 73-66 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won six in a row.

Hayden's record is now 9-7. As for Manhattan, their record now sits at 6-10.

Hayden couldn't quite finish off Manhattan when the teams last played back in January and fell 45-42. Can Hayden avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
