Hurricane skates past South Charleston with ease

Recap: Hurricane Redskins vs. South Charleston Black Eagles

The Hurricane Redskins can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat South Charleston 62-21 at home. The win was just what Hurricane needed coming off of a 80-50 loss in their prior match.

Alexandra Anderson was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall Anderson, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Hurricane's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12. As for South Charleston, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15.

Hurricane has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. South Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
