Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Dyett walked away with it. They secured a 54-50 W over the Manual Rams on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly four points.

Dyett's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Devon Shelton, who posted nine points along with five rebounds and three steals. Shelton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games he's played. Jah'Mir Brown was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Dyett has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season. Manual moved to 23-13 with that defeat, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Dyett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-41 victory against Althoff Catholic on the 15th. As for Manual, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-44 loss against Christ the King on the 14th.
