Softball Preview: Blacksher Bulldogs vs. Chickasaw Chieftains
Blacksher is a perfect 10-0 against Chickasaw since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chieftains at 1:00 p.m. Blacksher is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Everything went Blacksher's way against Washington County as they made off with a 16-8 win. Blacksher hasn't had any issues with Washington County recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Laney Saucer and Kadence Dailey did most of the damage at the plate: Saucer got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Dailey went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four runs gave Saucer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Averie Hall, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Blacksher hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in nine consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Chickasaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Washington County, falling 15-0.
