After flying high against Chief Sealth last Monday, Lakeside came back down to earth. The Lakeside Lions took a 64-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Lynx on Saturday. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Lakeside's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for Lincoln, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Lakeside will challenge Cleveland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeside is facing Cleveland at the right time seeing as Cleveland is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Lincoln, they will face off against Bishop Blanchet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Blanchet will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lincoln surely won't give up without a fight.
