Recap: St. Michael the Archangel Guardians vs. Summit Christian Academy Eagles
The St. Michael the Archangel Guardians waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins but they left with four. They secured a 56-52 W over Summit Christian Academy. This was payback for St. Michael the Archangel, who suffered a 52-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, Summit Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Max Rieger, who scored 24 points. Another player making a difference was Kash Pritchard, who scored nine points.
St. Michael the Archangel's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Summit Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.
