The Page Sand Devils will venture away from home to challenge the Williams Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Page is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Page's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Monument Valley with a sharp 9-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Sand Devils as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Shaine Begay was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Cole Tate was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

Page always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .652. The last time their OBP was this high was back in February of 2024.

Meanwhile, Williams had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Mustangs.

Mario Pedraza made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Aiden Uebel was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Ricky Gonzalez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first doubles of the season.

Williams' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Page, their record now sits at 8-6.

Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Page hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .344. However, it's not like Williams struggles in that department as they've averaged .378. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
