Recap: Miller Falcons vs. Millersport Lakers
The Miller Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 101-79 margin over Millersport. The victory was some much needed relief for Miller as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Logan Doughty continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 46 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jack Hoskinson, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Miller's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Millersport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
Miller will head out on the road to take on Berne Union at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Miller is coming into the match with four straight victories on the road, so Berne Union is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Millersport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairfield Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairfield Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
