Volleyball Recap: Riese Kirkland and Cassidy Klimasewski Secure Win for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee won the last time they faced Rosman and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee never let Rosman on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-24, 25-19.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee was led to victory by Cassidy Klimasewski and Riese Kirkland. Klimasewski had 16 digs and one assist, while Kirkland had nine digs and two aces. Kirkland has been hot, having also posted 31 or more assists the last six times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Rabun Gap-Nacoochee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in four consecutive matchups.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's record is now 16-6. As for Rosman, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
