Basketball Recap: Shadow Mountain's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Shadow Mountain came into Friday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 65-57 victory over the Moon Valley Rockets on Friday. For the Matadors, this counts as revenge for the 71-53 win the Rockets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Shadow Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Moon Valley, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

After both having extra time off, Shadow Mountain and Paradise Honors will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Moon Valley, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Thunderbird at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
