Volleyball Recap: Loyola Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Loyola Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Barrington Fillies/Broncos by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Ramblers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fillies/Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Loyola Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-21 record this season. As for Barrington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-11.

As of now, neither Loyola Academy nor the Fillies/Broncos have any future games scheduled.
