Basketball Game Preview: Logan-Rogersville Wildcats vs. Hartville Eagles

The Logan-Rogersville Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Hartville Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Logan-Rogersville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.

Last Thursday, Logan-Rogersville didn't have too much trouble with Lindbergh as they won 63-49. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Flyers are ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hartville). They breezed by Lighthouse Christian to the tune of 74-47 on Tuesday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 24 points or more this season.

Logan-Rogersville is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.5 points. As for Hartville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.

Logan-Rogersville was able to grind out a solid win over Hartville when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 46-38. Will Logan-Rogersville repeat their success, or does Hartville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
