Soccer Recap: Greensburg Starts off Right with Win over Christian Academy

Greensburg gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Christian Academy Warriors. Jacob Schneider had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Greensburg got from the refs.

Ethan Smith and Bryson Chilton scored both of Greensburg's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Greensburg didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Switzerland County on the 16th. As for Christian Academy, they will square off against Lanesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
