Basketball Recap: Tri-Central Find Success

After losing to Daleville the last time they met, Tri-Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tri-Central Trojans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Daleville Broncos on Saturday, sneaking past 55-53.

When it comes to explaining why Daleville lost, don't look at Hunter Suchyna. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Sexton, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.

Tri-Central is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Daleville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Tri-Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-50 loss against Sheridan on the 10th. As for Daleville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-22 win against Cowan on the 10th.
