Soccer Recap: Wakulla Extends Winning Streak to Four

Wakulla's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Columbia Tigers 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the War Eagles who have now won four matchups in a row.

Dax Dichio and Connor Crawford scored both of Wakulla's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Wakulla is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season. As for Columbia, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 8-3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wakulla will head out to square off against Florida State University High School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Florida State University High School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season. As for Columbia, they are taking a road trip to challenge Orange Park at 7:20 p.m. on Friday. Columbia is facing Orange Park at the right time seeing as Orange Park is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
