Football Recap: Allen Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Allen can now relate to. They lost 44-21 to the Hominy Bucks on Friday. The Mustangs gained 52 more yards on the day, but it was the Bucks that made the best use of them.

Allen lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Davion Byrd, who rushed for 63 yards and one touchdown on only five carries. Quintin Box was another key player, rushing for 92 yards and a pair of TDs.

Blaine Hipp had an outrageously good game for Hominy as he rushed for 96 yards and one score on only 13 carries, and also threw for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight passes.

Allen's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. As for Hominy, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Allen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hominy, they will challenge Talihina at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bucks will need to watch out since the Golden Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
