Gridley hadn't beaten Las Plumas on the road since May 25, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thunderbirds, sneaking past 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Gridley's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gus Stogsdill, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits Stogsdill has posted since back in March of 2024.
Gridley's record now sits at 10-6. As for Las Plumas, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-7-2.
